Day out in the forest

We found the forest that Mojo always goes to - it is 5-minutes
away from the other woods that we always go to, but it
is always nice to find new places to go for a run!
(we didn't see Mojo there though - sigh)

Like Mojo said - it was very VERY muddy!

Suddenly, we came across this fallen down tree - it had been snapped off the very top of a tall tree in the strong gales the night before. There were sticks and bits of tree everywhere!

We tried to eat it out of the way - but that was going to take a long long time.

Then daddy started trying to scare us with the Tree Monster - but we're not stupid.....(see our video below!)

Alas, when we got home we were so muddy that the inevitable happened....

Just look at my sorrowful eyes, how could they do this to me??

Below is our video of daddy being a stupid Tree Monster.

I mean - who does he think we are??

Oooh Molly and Gertrude

WE get just the same treatment, the dreaded hose always seems to come aong when we are a litle muddy.

Your walk looked really good, we love visiting new places as well.

Yes, I can see you were clearly terrified by the tree monster, wooooo!

What sad faces while you were getting hosed down, bless. Hope you got a nice warm towel to wrap up in afterwards.

Doesn't your dad know that Airedales aren't afraid of ANYTHING? We probably would have tried to eat the tree out of the way too, but you are right...it would take a LONG time!

Don't you just hate the dreaded hose down especially when it veers towards the poop shoot.
Your dad plays the same sort of game ours does, it's called scare the dale lol.

Hey, chicas!

Sometimes you just have to humor the hoomans, ya know? (I see that you know).

On the other paw, what a great romp you had! Maybe you can arrange to meet the Mojo Girl there next time and see just how muddy you can all get (and get your hoomans muddy too).

Bummer about the bath. I feel your pain.

Goober love & smooches,
Stanley

So other dale's dads make those noises too, huh? Mine does.Doesn't scare me either. Dales aren't daft are they.
I don't get the hose pipe treatment - it's a rub-a-dub (but I don't like it) here or the occasional bath.
That forest looks nice. Any squirrels?
